Open Question: Diarrhea/stomach problem?

I am sick dog last week. Sick night last week (diarrhea, high fever, chills), and just feel terrible. Even through in the bathroom, this is how bad. Attempt to ease the access to food and watch what I eat. Stomach pain or distress, and these horrible burps me. No stern, until yesterday. Now, today, diarrhea is back. I'm just curious, if the virus can last so long? If it is food poisoning, in the last week? Is it a kind of bacteria? I had acid reflux with the past, but taken in a magazine. Stomach problems do not cause diarrhea, is it? Just curious …
